Remote Innovation under Lockdown: Advanced remote production and high-end post-production for Microsoft's cybersecurity podcast series.
This project involved the end-to-end production of a multi-episode podcast series featuring interviews with leading experts in the cybersecurity industry. Executed at the height of the 2020 pandemic, our primary challenge was the total inability to host guests in-studio. To overcome this, we spearheaded the remote creative direction and technical coordination, ensuring pristine recording quality despite severe logistical constraints.
Our post-production workflow was highly technical; we utilized advanced masking and rotoscoping to seamlessly blend remote interviewees into the hosts' physical studio environment, crafting a unified and organic visual narrative. Additionally, our team handled the complete audio engineering, precise color grading, and the custom design of all motion graphics—including the intro, outro, and animated lower thirds. As our first large-scale production of this magnitude, we successfully delivered a premium, broadcast-ready product that fully met Microsoft's rigorous quality standards.
